The Ouzoud waterfalls

Full day Private From Marrakech ~3 h drive

The Ouzoud waterfalls drop about 110 metres in several tiers, which makes them the highest in Morocco. The name comes from the Amazigh word for olive, and the olive groves run right down to the water, past old mills that were built along the stream.

This is a day of landscape rather than monuments: a shaded path, spray in the air, wild macaques in the forest around the gorge, and lunch on a terrace with the whole fall in view.
