Day by day

Day 1

Arrival in Marrakech

Welcome at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Marrakech.

Day 2

Marrakech to Asilah

Morning drive to Casablanca for the Corniche and the Hassan II Mosque, then Rabat: the Royal Palace, the Kasbah of the Oudayas above the Bouregreg estuary, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Hassan Tower. Continue up the coast to the small white town of Asilah. Dinner and night in a riad.

Day 3

Asilah to Chefchaouen

North through Tangier and Tetouan, then into the Rif mountains to Chefchaouen, the blue city founded in 1471. Time to wander the washed lanes and drink mint tea below the kasbah walls.

Day 4

Chefchaouen to Fez

South via Ouazzane to the Roman site of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then imperial Meknes: Bab Mansour, the old mellah and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Arrival in Fez for dinner and the night.

Day 5

Fez

A full day in the oldest imperial city: the Attarine and Bou Inania medersas, the Nejjarine fountain, the Karaouine Mosque founded in 859, the leather tanneries and their natural dyes, and the souks of Fes El Bali, a UNESCO site since 1976.

Day 6

Fez to Merzouga

Over the Middle Atlas through Ifrane and the cedar forests where Barbary macaques live, lunch in a Berber village, then down toward the Sahara. At the dunes of Merzouga, camels carry you to the camp for sunset, dinner and Berber music under the stars.

Day 7

Merzouga & Khamlia

Sunrise over the dunes, breakfast at the hotel, then the village of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music. Dinner and night in Merzouga.

Day 8

Merzouga to the Dades Gorges

An hour of camel riding at sunrise, then Rissani and its kasbah, the Todra Gorges, and the canyon of the Dades. Night in a guest house on the banks of the river.

Day 9

Dades to Marrakech

Through the Skoura oasis and its palm grove, the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou with a local guide, then over the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2,260 meters. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon: Menara Gardens, the Koutoubia, the Saadian tombs and Jamaa El Fna.

Day 10

Departure

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Marrakech Menara airport. End of our services.
